Lots been going on lately. We're into Girl Scout Cookie season, so of course that's kept our troop very busy. Between Hannah and Caitlynn their goal is 250 boxes of cookies, we haven't me it yet, but I still think we can do it, we'll see. Hannah had her Brownie rededication ceremony on Wednesday. Caitlynn's Dance recital is fast approaching, she has performances on December 4th and 5th. Hannah and Elijah are still doing Gymnastics and loving it, we heard there might not be another session after this one and we're bummed. Elijah is still loving being a Wolf Cub Scout and working on his rain gutter regatta boat with daddy. We just received the popcorn he sold for the cubsout fundraiser, so we have to get that delivered. Dave's still teaching diving and having fun with it. I guess the biggest thing for me lately is that I won a local photography contest and had two of my Fire Dance photos from Sub Ball published. It was definitely a pleasant surprise. This evening I'm taking the kids to Gab Gab beach to HOPEFULLY get our Christmas photo done. We'll see how it works out. I wanted to do it first thing in the morning when they were fresh, but I just couldn't get moving this morning.
Of course yesterday was Thanksgiving and we had a nice evening at Kerrie's house. I just wish I hadn't been fighting off a migraine all day. I'm looking forward to being stateside for the holidays next year. As much as I like the culture and weather here, I'm ready to go home. There's just so much that we don't have here that I'm starting to miss. I'm not happy with the school and the lack of help we're getting with Elijah, of course it's not just the school the doctor's aren't helpful either. The same people who say he's struggling and wired different from other kids, also tell me that I'm looking for something that's not there. I really wish they'd make up their minds. His teacher this year is pushing to have him tested, but I'm leery of going down that road again with the same team that told us all this last year. Oh well, I guess we'll see what happens.
